PROJECT MANAGEMENT

One of the many projects I enjoyed leading at New Vision Dance Center was "May I Have This Dance?". It was a fresh take on the classic father-daughter dance event, inviting anyone from siblings to grandparents to join their dancer on stage for a performance in front of friends and family.

I crafted a detailed project proposal that included timelines, group structure, budgeting, email copy, the event logo, and merchandise design. As the point-of-contact for the event, I managed the project from ideation to completion. I co-choreographed and taught six routines for 60 participants, edited music for each routine using Adobe Premiere, and tracked participant registration and payment information. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and determine audio/visual effects for the performance.
